I still remember the article where StudioCanal was gushing about how many Blu-rays they'd sold of the first film, and it brought a smile to my face...because one of them is my copy.

just saw this in the theater here in the States - what a wonderful movie that matches the entertainment factor of the first movie - cannot wait to own the UHD - I had no idea until the end credits that this was mixed/released in both Dolby Atmos and DTS-X, I wonder what the audio specs of the home video release will be.

Tried watching it. It keeps freezing on my PS4 at around the 1 hr 4 mins mark. Has anyone else encountered this issue? And does it play okay on other blu-ray players? Thanks for any response.

Yeah I had it freeze up a number of times on PS4. Didn't try any other players. Turned the machine off and the last 40 minutes played okay. Could be iffy authoring as I think something similar happened with the Ghibli title, Marnie by them.

I eventually did the same thing as Sinthetic. My wife and I finally finished the film by jumping forward in chapters after the PS4 had been turned off and on again. Will return tomorrow for refund, not much good when a blu-ray won't properly play from outset without turning player off and on again.

I'll try exchanging the bd before I ask for a refund. I'll post whether or not the replacement worked properly on my PS4.

They are both Studio Canal titles, so may well be an incompatibility issue between Sony firmware and the Studio Canal encode of the layer change (guessing at that point as just over half way through film, and it should glitch if just playing within a data layer.

I just watched it on my Sony 790 with no problems.
