Looks good! Turned the trailer off after a minute before they spoiled the whole thing.

I’m interested in seeing how they expand upon the story, as the graphic novel is fairly short. I hope this leads to more Charles Forsman adaptations, though. His SLASHER is in my top five comics for 2017.

Watching now. Very surprised on how short everything is. 8 episodes, ranging from 18-22 minutes. About 1 minute of credits per episode puts it to 2 hours and 38 minutes of content. Could have just been a long movie.

Either way, I think I'm in love with Alyssa after just the first episode. She is incredibly attractive. I love the freckles.

Was alright.. not really into quirky stuff like this, with lazy storytelling, but by the end I liked it.

Loved every minute of this. Very funny, but also touching at times too, and it's beautifully filmed. It played more like a film than a show, and to that effect, I'd say it's probably best watched continuously. The two leads were excellent, and I look forward to seeing them in more stuff.

Enjoyed it overall, but it didn't leave much of an impression. The soundtrack was the highlight.

Season 2 confirmed!

Quote:
‘The End of the F***ing World’ Will Continue, as Season 2 Is Officially Renewed by Netflix

Some said it would never happen. Other said it shouldn’t happen. But now it’s officially happening: “The End of the F***ing World” has been renewed for Season 2 by Netflix and Channel 4. Watch the announcement video below, but be warned: There are spoilers for Season 1.

Creator Charlie Covell has been retained to write the second season, which will continue to be adapted from Charles Forsman’s comic series of the same name. Covell, Murray Ferguson, Ed Macdonald, Andy Baker, Dominic Buchanan, and Jonathan Entwistle will serve as executive producers.

Netflix seems to renew a lot of stuff that should have ended after one season... interesting.

I'll look forward to it... hope the soundtrack is as good as season 1.

I thought it was a quirky, fresh take on the traditional love story. I really liked the odd chemistry between the leads. I really think it would have worked best as a one-off, since most, if not all, of the comic was covered, but the fact they're bringing in the creator to write it is promising. I'll give it a chance!
