Panasonic have announced a BDLive player with TrueHD and DTS-MA internal decoding. Excellent!

If you already have the BD30 and a receiver that doesTrueHD and DTS-MA internal decoding, is this a step up? or more for people that don't have a newer receiver that is HDMI 1.3?
When I bought two new BD30's, I also bought two Pioneer elites that will do the True HD and DTS-MA decoding |

I'm willing to pay up to $700 for it, as it would save me from getting a new amp (and there's nothing wrong with my Yamaha, even though it's not HDMI).
And I wouldn't ever connect my player to the internet, so the 2.0 spec isn't important to me. Full audio decoding, of course, is essential. And I'm willing to bet that it can even decode Resident Evil 3's THD audio. ![]() Bravo, Panny! |

I have the Panny BD30 and it suits my needs because I have a new receiver that can handle hdmi and 7.1. But for those that need internal decoding or desire bd live. This will probably be a great bd player, but I wonder if it will also bitstream the advanced codecs.
