Can't imagine they'd only do the first and not the sequels in UHD at the same time. I want the trilogy!

Yeah, I'm really hoping for all three. Wouldn't make sense just to have the first on UHD I think.

But on the other hand, you never know. Still waiting on the rest of the Underworld and Resident Evil series to be released, Jack Reacher 1 and I'm sure there are people who would want the first Guardians Of The Galaxy on UHD.

So they're not waiting for the ever-rumored reboot/sequels then...

This is great news for many people, I'm happy for them.

Me and my weird buying habits, I will probably only buy the 3rd one (

) so I hope we get individual releases somewhere.

I can live without the sequels and the Animatrix. If they release all of them and don't screw image quality with some bizarre DNR or black crush, I'll get all. If it's only the first film, I'm not gonna wait.

Would love to watch the action scenes from Reloaded on UHD, not so fussed about the other two movies though.

I'm only upgrading 40 or so movies from Blu-ray to 4K. The Matrix is on the list. I have 2, 3, and the Animatrix on digital which is good enough for me due to the quality of those movies.

I hope for an "Ultimate" UHD Collection with everything, including bonus features that can totally be combined onto a single Blu-ray disc (instead of two DVDs) and hopefully some of these features can be upgraded to HD.

What's the release date? (Can't check out Amazon at work).

I had a DVD of this long ago. Lost it, and never got it again, thinking I'd buy the set once all of the movies came out. However, the series lost it's luster for me with 2 & 3, and I never got around to upgrading.

I find the first movie to a sci-fi/action masterpiece. So fun. I also feel like it is a self contained movie. I don't need the other 2. I will gladly pick up this one. Should be a great addition to the UHD collection. (While I am not a fan of 2 & 3, I bet they will look stellar with 4k-HDR).

This is going to be an expensive year... but as long as that relates to UHD, I'm all for it!
