I think "I'm sorry" is the appropriate response...

Now that this is over, I hope Jamie Dornan gets another big franchise. Could easily see him as the next Bond, or a Jedi or superhero; he could probably kill it as Bruce Wayne. (Cue fanboy outrage over at least one of these in 5... 4... 3...)

No. Not at all. I was making a joke about the movie title.

FIFTY SHADES FREED - 43.47 Million
PETER RABBIT - 27.5 Million
15:17 TO PARIS - 13 Million

Pretty sure the people who turned out for Fifty Shades Darker will want to see the climax. It did get a good CinemaScore rating so fans were pleased with the second entry. I don't think it will drop too much opening weekend. I plan on seeing it on the 13th. I don't care what anyone says .

Peter Rabbit could breakout. There hasn't been a hit family film since Jumanji and The Greatest Showman opened in December. It's unfortunate but Paddington 2 really disappointed domestically. Audiences looking for a family movie need something new to watch. Plus Peter Rabbit is more appropriate for younger kids than the likes of Jumanji or Showman.

Yeah but Ninjago bombed and there wasn’t a major family movie before that in nearly 3 months.

Box Office Mojo:

Quote:
Universal Pictures' Fifty Shades Freed grossed $5.6 million in late night shows in 3,150 locations beginning at 7 PM. This is just a shade behind the $5.72 million Fifty Shades Darker brought in from preview showings last year before opening with $46.6 million over the same weekend, suggesting a $40+ million debut is not at all unrealistic.

I see Jumanji got a release date, but is this the reason why Showman still hasn't officially been given a release date? I think everyone thinks it's March 6th, so less then a month and not a peep for it yet?
