Pan's Labyrinth Aussie BD - how's the quality?

I know the regular US disc has DNR and the UK one apprently has audio issues. Does the Australian BD release of Pan's Labyrinth suffer from either of those issues?

I'm not sure about the aussie release (it mirrors one of those faulty releases but I can't remember which), but if you can track down a copy of the Zavvi UK steelbook then it has no DNR and fixes the audio from the regular UK edition.

Must be the UK one as it has the same audio options. That's all good, apparently the PCM stereo track is unaffected so I'll just listen to that with PLIIX 7.1 expansion. The steelbook looks to be a rather pricey venture.

Just FYI, Criterion has new color grading. So the Zavvi UK Steelbook is definitely the one to get as the release that most closely matches the original without revisionism and without issues. Got real lucky to find a legit sealed one on eBay for a reasonable price during this past year.

I think I will still get the criterion, I did just have a quick look at the specs and the Zavvi steelbook does have a larger bitrate but still VC-1. The criterion has got a full star rating for both audio and video, also says transfer supervised by del toro

Edit- One day in the future though have many things on my list to get first lol
