I was browsing Best Buy, and I saw they had "BD-AVATAR:THE LAST AIRBENDER CS" with a May 1st release. Could this truly be the Complete Series getting a BD release at least? I can't see what else it could be for with that title, certainly not the film.

Yes! I've been meaning to revist this show for years now; I only saw the first two seasons during their initial broadcast and for some reason I never saw season three.

I doubt BB will sell the film for $50.

Plus the film didn't have Avatar in its title. I have to imagine the "CS" in the BB title stands for Complete Series. I just hope the eps are properly remastered in HD rather than cheap upscales.

I have seen the film called Avatar: TLA before. But 99% pretty sure this is the show.

I hate to break it to you all, but for that price ($49.99), it's almost certainly a repackaging of the DVD set. This wouldn't be the first time Best Buy's website was mistaken about the format of a release, which is exactly what led to this.

The show just got a rerelease a year or two ago on DVD, I'd assume it is indeed Bluray. Its available in HD digitally.

Yes, definitely a possibility with that price. Seems odd to release another DVD set at $49.99 though when they currenly have a complete series set at $29.99. Maybe it comes with some extra stuff?

Anyway, we'll obviously have to wait for more details to come out.
