Default Wonder (2017)

How does this movie NOT already have a thread for it? I just saw this for the first time last night, and it was SUCH a powerful and emotional journey for my wife and I, I ran out to Walmart today and purchased this film. I HAD to have this in my collection.

This has to be one of the most PERFECT films I've seen in such a long time. The young actors in this film are AMAZING! Seriously, nominations should have been passed out.

Am I the ONLY one with this film and wanting to discuss it with others?

I absolutely loved it too, it’s a gem of a film. It had me consistently in tears throughout. I wish more people were taking about it!

Yes, I didn't think it would impact me the way it did, but I teared up several times throughout. The story-telling, directing and talent of each actor was the PERFECT blend to create such a powerful and emotional roller coaster experience.

It made me think of the way I treated kids in my school who were different, and for the most part, I'm pleased with my choices.....but there were one or two instances where I could have made better choices and not hurt some feelings.

I think every school in America should be forced to watch this in class. This movie was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

My daughter’s 5th grade class read the book and then the school sent all of the 5th grade classes to see the movie.

I bought and watched. I thought it was good but nothing i haven't seen before. The acting was great, some heartfelt moments, but also predictable. I dont usually have expectations for movies, but i guess they were high for this one.

I grabbed a copy of this on amazon this morning. I can't wait to watch it, based on everyones reactions.

Another film of a similar nature I'd LOVE to see on blu-ray, is Mask, a Universal release. It's difficult to get through it with a dry eye.

This film depicts what humanity is all about and people day in, day out forget about it ever more. It felt so real that I wanted to have cried, but I held it back as I wasn't watching it by myself.

5/5

I think this film was overshadowed by the other one called 'Wonder' too, so that probably didn't help it.

Hadn't heard of this film but found out about it earlier yesterday so I gave it a watch and thought it was terrific. Color me shocked that the actor who played Auggie is the baseball boy in Doctor Sleep. That was some damn great makeup work! This film hit me right in the feels. Got me teared up several times.
[Show spoiler]Geez. The part where Auggie walks in on his friend saying he should just kill himself for the way he looks was so brutal. I'm getting choked up now just thinking about it.
