We've got another year before the premiere of season 8, so I should be able to swing it... if I start saving now

More like $400 MSRP, $300 street.

Westworld 4K was $42-$60, multiply that by seven seasons, you get somewhere around $300-$400.

I am working closely with a mod (Scottie) here, what to do and where to place such releases. I have his approval as well. We even discussed closing the International forums, because of these worldwide shared releases.

I'd been waiting on a full show release as I imagined that's when they'd get a 4K debut. Still reckon I'll wait until then, as I'm unlikely to revisit the shows before the whole thing ends.

That wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. That there's no region coding for UHD removes that one major barrier to importing, but then some people would still kvetch about ratings logos, not wanting foreign text on their covers, upside-down titles on spines etc, and if the included BD is region locked then they'd complain mightily about that.

Hey, sometimes I don't trek into the international forums and miss some great release leaks/announcements. It isn't a bad idea at all to cross-post news of releases that are most definitely being released in the US as well.
