Here are some movies that will most likely be huge blockbusters that come out this year:

The Dark Knight (Warner Bros.)
Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince (Warner Bros.)
Hancock (Sony)
Bond 22 (Sony)
Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (Disney)
Wall-E (Disney)
Pineapple Express (Sony)
X-Files Sequel (Fox)
Semi-Pro (New Line)
Horton Hears A Who (Fox)
10,000 BC (Warner)
Rambo (Lionsgate)

If Paramount Comes To Blu:

Cloverfield
Indiana Jones Sequel
Iron Man

If Universal Comes To Blu:

Wanted
The Hulk
Hellboy II

My Money is On Cloverfield Tanking, it may have created some hype on the net, but most people I know (general movie going public) don't know what the hell it is, and I honestly don't care either

I know but I have a lot of faith in JJ Abrams, he had a really good debut with MI:3 (I think it was the best of the series). I think that word of mouth will really help this movie. If people are hesitant to see it then they will wait until they hear something from other people.

Also, what movies do they release in January? The ones that the studios know wouldn't normally do well. This time of the year is when studios dump their less than promising films in hopes that the less competition there is the more money it will make.

This could very well be another Blair Witch Project. I rented that movie and almost fell asleep, man what a POS.

This time and September time. I think they had to decide which two out of three movies they wanted as summer tentpoles and this was the least promising of the three. Indy and Iron-Man definitely are going to be good movies (I can say that, by the time they're out, Para will be Blu). So, using my logic, Cloverfield shouldn't be too bad. I'm looking forward to seeing it in theaters.

Cloverfield is supposed to be the US' answer to Godzilla. I'm getting tired of all this handheld camera look! It was so noticeable in Bourne. There are times when I think it's appropirate. But not the whole darn movie!
