Thumbs down Oppo leaving the market.
At first I assumed this was an April Fool's prank (a day late) but alas it seems not: https://www.oppodigital.com/farewell.aspx

I guess for us 3D fans, one big advantage was that Oppo gear allowed easy modification for multi-region releases.

If you are on the fence about buying one maybe now is the time! I intend to pick one up primarily so I have a backup player for the 3DFA Region A releases.
