Default Lets us not forget Sony, Fox, MGM, Disney

For days we have been talking about Warner and New Line going exclusive and giving the HD-DVD the killing blow.

For days we have been talking about Paramount and Universal and how they anytime can go and support blu-ray.

Thats all fine, but let us not forget the war-veterans Sony, Fox, MGM, Disney, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Sharp and all the others, who stayed loyal to the one and only Hi-def-format and thank them ... they are true blu

It's always fun talking about what is going to happen with Paramount and Universal, but there are others studios too, and they need attention too

And thanks to everybody for a good fight and for supporting blu.

LG has been dual format the entire time.

But other than that, I agree. Let's here for all of the above.

I honestly think Disney deserves the most praise. They're very influential in their industry....AND....on top of that, they've been putting out the best releases (IMO) out of any of the studios.

Gooooo house of mouse.

Panny FTW, I would add Mitsubishi, JVC, PIONEER, and PHILLIPS instead of SAMSUNG and LG cause they both support dual formats I went to FRY'S today and still see LG dual format drive for PC and wondering why are they still avaliable for the consumers. They should be off the shelf by now.

i agree, except for the reference to LG and Samsung. they are not tru blu. they are korean electronics manufacturers who don't care what format is superior. they just want to sell sub par combo players and try to charge more for a single machine, than it would cost to buy two seperate top of the line dedicated format players.

Ok ... My mistake LG and Samsung may not be the best example, but let os not lose focus and forget Sony, Fox, MGM, Disney and all the other true-blu

... I'm true-blu since august 07, and I have never been purple or red

True that but we need 110% blu support not 75%. That will not make them "TRUE BLU"

Especially let us extend a call-of-duty to Disney:

Any studio could pretend loyalty if they were tied to Apple...
But to actually improve the quality of Blu-ray, take the lead in experimenting with bonus features, actually outdo Sony in promoting the technology in general--even when they had little financial interest outside of their movies/downloads--and take the biggest step in mainstream catalog diversity (and in AVC, unlike Warner) lets us see what true friendship to the new media looks like.

Well then my sig would be a page long.

I'm limiting it to major studios.
