There is no way this won't get way cheaper. It's amz IT after all.

I not only own the UK digi already, but also all the steelbooks including the trilogy steelbook. This one is really nice as well, but yes way too expensive atm.

Yeah ,it's Amz.IT Am sure it will reach €39.99 or in the range of ~€40 ;at times during flash sales it can even reach ~€20s too as with collectors edition of The Godfather trilogy a few days ago !

Certainly a blast from the past, remember getting the U.K. release back in 2010 then saw how much it was going for on eBay so listed it and ended up selling for £120

It's cool that this is getting another release. I have the UK release of this tin from 2010.

Is this expected to be pretty much identical to the UK release, or will there be any notable differences?

exactly same set.. not remastered. I dont have tin set but I wont pay EUR 100 for this one sorry. It was about EUR 50 when it was first released in UK in 2010, and now we are in 2018..same set at EUR 100.. sorry things are changed. They release this set again cause many people like me missed first UK set in 2010 but you cant steal an extra EUR 50 from me : ))

I have the UK amarays and the US Digipack and now want this so bad. Will wait for it to hit 45 EUR again.

I absolutely love all the 3 movies and always wanted to get a really good CE like this one.

Beware of Amazon packaging! It was shipped in one of those thin folded envelopes. I've got this through that same €45 deal but regret getting this from Amz as their packaging is worst- it arrived with a huge dent on spine (although it's blank but still a damage) and several small dents on front cover as well.

Front art is super glossy and has a best finishing ever; surprised that glossiness still survived after fixing those dents .

The dark blue colour of the spine as well as bare backside don't match with the blue tone of front art ; this is something ignorable but it's an OCD thing ! Not sure if you can notice this in the unboxing video but it's very apparent in hand.

I highly recommend you get this through the help of any Italian forum members by buying in B&M stores and get it forwarded rather buying it at a discounted price from Amazon when this tin pack is not guaranteed to arrive in pristine state.

IMO ,its definitely worth that premium price provided you get exactly what you've paid for!

I have been burnt with Amazon.it bad packaging 95% of the time. Last 9 steelbooks I bought from them and shipped to my freight forwarder address inside Italy were sent in a plastic bag! All of them became damaged horribly and they couldn't make a replacement order unless I return the damaged items which was impossible of course as I received them in Egypt and sending them back would've cost twice the order cost. I also had to pay shipping and customs fees to the freight forwarder which was again too much.

I wrote them an angry email and they asked for my phone number and I got a call that took about 25 minutes with a customer service rep with very good English and he was nice and understanding but again couldn't make a replacement without a return so he refunded the order.

Amazon.it sells some of the best steelbooks and their prices are very decent with insane deals but their packaging really kills it.

I know someone who goes to Italy on a regular basis and will try to ask for their help, if not, Italian members here is a good idea.
