This game has peaked my interest, but I’m hoping for more God of War difficulty, than Bloodborne. I don’t have time for the usual From Software grind lol.

I'll try to find the quote I saw but I read somewhere that From Software said that this would be just as hard as their other games.

I have my eye on this one too, since Tecmo is nowhere to be found on the Ninja front, this might fill the void.

I really enjoyed Ninja Blade that From did for the 360, it was a fun game that was way under the radar.

Ordered for store pick-up today from Target. It was on sale with an additional 5% off. I’m not sure when I will be playing this game, but I am excited and nervous.

Fulfilled my promise albeit almost 3 years later.

Installed and downloaded the update on my Xbox. I played a bit yesterday and my initial reaction is that this is the exact opposite of those Dark Souls games. The character moves feel "slippery". Reminds me of Tomb Raider where you hang off of a ledge or double-jump to reach a higher section. I was practicing my deflect and dodge moves a lot at the shrine. Also, getting accustomed to the sub menu.

Interesting game......

Defeated a mid-boss. This took a dozen tries. I also killed 2 Generals.
I don’t think that I will be able to master the deflect/parry move. I am only dodging the attacks.

I upgraded my Gourd to 3. The Sculptor Idols are the equivalent to bon fires in Dark Souls. At least I can easily warp between check points unlike Dark Souls 1.

Interesting that I get an additional life when I die. Also, I am trying to get acquainted with the grappling hook. Still learning the mechanics of this game. I don’t like stealth games, so this is going to be fun.

Finally! Defeated the first real boss. This took almost 70 tries.

My understanding is that poise is the equivalent of stamina in Dark Souls. Sekiro does not have a stamina bar. I am starting to make some sense of this game.

Is $47 a good price? Has it been cheaper? Looking to get this for my son for his PS5. He has the Dark Souls Trilogy, Bloodbourne, and Demons Souls. Got Elden Ring preordered for him

I got it for $30 off the playstation store a month ago. Though I think it's back up to full price. Other than that, the game hasn't had any major price drops since it's been out from what I can tell. You'll probably find better price if you don't mind buying used. It's a great game, so it's worth the price if he likes these type of games.

Defeated another boss. This took about a dozen tries. I hate four-legged bosses because their movements are unpredictable.

I opened up multiple areas to explore. I am not sure where to go next.

I am having difficulty with this game. I came across 3 bosses in Ashina Reservoir and could barely do damage to any of them. I will need to learn those special moves to succeed.
