Mill Creek is usually region free. I have the Eureka Blu (non-steelbook) and I'd only consider double dipping if it's a new scan. The Eureka release is solid but this film desperately needs a 4K scan.

Wow, I'm liking the look of the Steelbook.

As for the transfer, wasn't Mill Creek's standard release slated to come out last week? I can't seem to find anything on it other than it's a Walmart exclusive - though no way to buy it that I can see. Hoping someone can shine some light on the quality, if it has in fact been released into the wild.

Somebody in the North America thread had said they picked it up but didn’t really comment on the transfer.

Since the Sony one is MOD, I hope this one uses a better master. Also, I have yet to see this in Walmart. Would love to though just to look at the specs.

Prices for this steel are all over the place ($17.99 to $25+). They are $17.99 at BestBuy and at Target. Neither explicitly mentions Steelbook but they are linked through Mill Creek with the actual UPC, so should be the real deal.
