Anyone getting this next week? I may pick it up to get my Alba fix, but wondering if the movie is actually any good. The trailer looks alright and the R rating is a plus.

I watched it a few nights ago and loved it. LOTS of boobs, sex scenes and I though it was pretty funny. Dane Cook is funny anyway but his chubby friend is hilarious. Probably worth a buy on Blu-ray to see all the boobs in HD.

I went and saw Superbad right before going and seeing Good Luck Chuck and Good Luck Chuck wasnt very good but maybe that was because Superbad was just so freaking awesome. Alba is hot though and Im sure it will be a good buy just to see her in High Def again!

Alba is hot, but I just can't see myself wanting to own a movie like that. I'll probably give it a rent.

I'm getting this too! I love her cuz she's hot! I wanna see her in Hi-Def. If they have the function of PiP, then I'm gonna pause on the sex scene, zoom-in and stare in full screen, lol!

Totally agree, the movie is definitely a good buy if you're an Alba or DC fan. I feel bad for Dane Cook because he used to be really funny when he was an unknown comedian, I saw him several times at the laff stop in Houston (2001, 2002, 2003) when I used to live there when he could barely draw 50-100 people...he was hysterically funny, creative, and spontanous...he never repeated his old material, always came with new material, even if I just saw him 6 months go...his first 2 CDs (harmful if swallowed & Retalliation) are classics, but I am not really sure where he took a wrong turn in the past two years and lost his funny bone or something...

Most of the movies he's been in were badly scripted (i.e. Employee of the month which was mediocre) but he is not the one writing the lame scripts...

On the other hand, Good Luck Chuck was a definite improvement in his on-screen performance (same goes for Mr. Brooks).

The fat guy in the movie pretty much steals the show, he just looks and acts funny...Alba on the other hand is mighty hot!

But the crazy amounts of T&A montages alone are worth the buy!

I give it a 1 and 1/2 thumbs up

and yes I am buying it forsho!

It was a decent comedy. Alot of sex involved which I wasnt expecting. Might Blu it later when im done buying other titles.

Just take a look at Rottentomatoes.com's review page on it. I'd say rent it first. 3/100 score is the worst I've seen on this site.
