Default HD DVD PRG still wont let it go

Even after the "massive overhaul" that debilitated the site for a while, Warner Bros still remains in the "partners" section...

Well, in their defense, WB is still backing them until May 2008... No one else has made an official announcement.

Well, until it's is the day of the announced official drop, HD DVD is still going to keep those logos.

New Line should be gone at least. They are dropping all HD DVD titles effective immediately!
There are going to be no new HD DVDs, and no more supplied for the only one they ever made.
But WB has to be gone within 5 months.

They are just trying keep their game face on hoping they can dupe enough people into buying their remaining HD DVD player inventory.

I think the major power now falls in the hands of the retailers, not Paramount and Universal. Retailers don't want to carry two formats. Its confusing for their customers. So I would not be surprised in retailers like Best Buy and Circuit City tell HD DVD to take a hike. At that point the only HD DVD becomes even more niche. If Paramount and Universal want a next gen business, it is BD or nothing now. HD Lite crap downloads still have too many obstacles. And moreso HD DVD's potential growth has just been thrown out the window with Warner's timely move. Only idiots will buy into HD DVD at this point. And let me add if you just bought one of these abominations and are still inside the return period do it. It will force the retailers to evaluate the situation even more. The tide has turned and two studios cannot carry the format.

New Line should be gone now. WB can stay up there until May or so.
