No, it's the SK scan, not a new 2K scan. In my opinion, the SK scan is still better than the current CC master.

I wholeheartedly agree. Did you do any additional clean-up on it? I seem to recall that my only complaint with it was that it had quite a few white specks popping up.

Got this today. Great quality release with awesome extras. Just a shame that the encoding of the transfer is not that good to be honest. Also the color space is different.

If only I found out about this release sooner! But once I own all the Cronenbergs, I would be okay paying secondary market prices as it’s such a fantastic film and would be a good excuse to revisit. Never seen any of the sequels.

"Scanner Cop 2" is my REAL Scanners 3. A terrific movie.
