CBS and Paramount have announced that the UK release of Star Trek: Discovery - Season 1 will be on 19th November 2018.

Did you get numbers round the wrong way or has price risen in last couple of hours.

I see at £28 which makes £25.20 with SIGNUP10 code.

It's gone up. I locked in for £22.50 as well.

I am sure I read elsewhere it was only 1080p but with HDR.
Therefore could release on UHD so you get the HDR but the show was not streamed by Netflix in 4K only 1080p.

It was £25 when I posted. It might go down again as HMV have it as £24.99

It's a difficult decision for me.
I buy all the Trek I can, only now it's a choice of watching the show on netflix with DV or the blu-ray which maybe have lesser PQ. I'll probably buy it for the extra's but I'm in doubt if I'll ever watch the series on blu-ray.

For me watching the show on Netflix was a very mixed bag. Overall I would say it 50% 1080p with the remainder at less than VHS quality due to streaming issues.

So I have been waiting for a Blu-ray release so I can watch the whole thing at 1080p

Better compression and sound on the Blu-ray though.

HDR is nice, but it isn't everything.

Couldn't help myself and pre-ordered the steelbook.
Considering that there's French subs on the US set and that this is a Paramount Pictures release, I'm 99% sure that there will be French subs on the UK version as well.

Definitely getting this. Loved the show and would love a 4K HDR version, but beggars can't be choosers!

So far every CBS Trek release has been identical worldwide so would be very surprised if this was not the same.
