Video rental stores are seeing Blu-ray as winner.

"The decission has been made. Nobody doubts that Blu-ray will become the successor of DVD.", says Jörg Weinrich, head of the Association of Video- and Media retailers.

A spokeswoman of the big electronic retailer MediaMarkt said, that Warner's move shows an important impulse to favour of Blu-ray.
