"Rian Johnson has lined up his first post-Last Jedi project: Knives Out, a murder mystery that will find the filmmaker directing Daniel Craig. Craig will play a detective investigating a murder, drawing inspiration from the work of Agatha Christie. It will mark Johnson’s first return to the mystery genre since his feature debut Brick." Can’t wait to see the witty comments revolving around this.

As a major fan of all of Rian Johnson’s work, I’m excited. I was a tad worried when his Star Wars trilogy was announced we’d lose out on potentially original work from the guy, so I’m happy he’s found space to make at least one new flick.

Holy crap, I really need some coffee this morning.

I read this as "directed by Rainn Wilson starring Craig Robinson".

Thought that would have been a real cool pairing, since they both were in The Office together. And both have been in horror/comedies.

Now I really want a horror comedy called "Knives Out" directed by Wilson starring Robinson.

Sounds very intriguing. Two guys who I think work best when they're removed from the stuff they're arguably most recognised for, lol. I'll keep 'em peeled for this one.

Extremely excited for this. Next year is shaping up to be an amazing year of films. Between this and Tarantino’s 9th I’m estatic. Everything Johnson has done has been a masterpiece (yes, even TLJ you haters).

Was also worried we wouldn’t get original Rian Johnson films with his Lucasfilm obligations so this is a total relief.

How about starring Rainn Wilson and Craig Robinson written and directed by James Gunn and be a dark comedy satire of modern horror in the way Super was to superhero films.

Brick is an amazing film (I imported the UK Blu just to have it), so the idea of Johnson returning to the throwback noir genre delights me.

This sounds really good. Love Daniel Craig. And I really like Agatha Christie, and mysteries in general. I'm not real familiar with Rian Johnson, but I did see Looper and totally enjoyed that. It was kick-ass.

They’d like to think they have that kind of power. The movie is actually being expected to draw tons of interest and be right in the thick of studios engaging in a bidding war at TIFF. Daniel Craig, during his Bond 25 vacation, signing on is huge too.

The vocal minority are just that. Excited to see what Rian does with this film.

Brick is awesome. It's not available on Blu in the U.S., though.

Based on Looper and Brothers Bloom, I know Johnson can deliver. And for all my issues with TLJ, when that movie kicks into gear, it really sings.

And the last time Craig did a murder mystery, we got Dragon Tattoo.
