Hemlock Grove first season was not crap people just made out as crap and than second season came with minor cast changes and changes to the story that it was a insult to the readers of the book.

The series is created by Mike Flanagan I doubt it will ever be anything like Hemlock Grove.

Flanagan has a decent track record.

If you haven't seen Before I Wake on NetFlix, I'd highly recommend it.

Looks the the one that plays the daughter in the trailer. The older version of the daughter Theo. Kate Siegel.

I've watched 5 episodes. It's great. So well-done. Really strong performances. It's not super fast-paced so those not interested in a slower burn probably won't care for it. But if you have patience it's definitely a winner. Some really creepy moments too.

I finished it. Unimpressed. This is just a family drama with few and far between spooky moments. It was marketed as real horror which it is not. 5/10 on the acting alone.

I had to stop after an episode and a half, the acting is BRUTAL, especially from the child actors. My god.

Flanagan’s films Hush and Oculus are absolutely awful so I’m not sure this is for me. I did enjoy Gerald’s Game, though.
