The 40th anniversary of the franchise is here and what is considered the best sequel by many critics is soon to be released! If you are a fan like me, you will probably be revisiting the films from the franchise that you love up until release and after, if not for the month of October..



Numerous threads dedicated to the franchise have appeared but never a poll ranking the films. However, discussion of how they should be ranked is always a huge topic in the forums. Let's take the time out to officially rank them once and for all for the forum!



To clarify, the following will be counted:
Halloween (1978)
Halloween II (1981)
Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
Halloween (2007)
Halloween II (2009)
Halloween (2018)



With days to come for the 2018 film to be released, be sure to go back in to include it, and please, no spoilers! From my understanding, some members have already seen it. This poll is only three weeks in order to get enough votes and to post by Halloween!
