Is anyone having a problem with Jurassic Park?
I bought the movie earlier in the year (or late last year). A little wile ago I tried to stream it on my MacBook but I discovered that the Jurassic Park store page shows me a "€4.99 Buy" button instead of a "Play" button. I checked my Purchased section and the film is there. It downloads and plays fine but there is no iTunes Extras. I then checked it on my AppleTV. It is in my library but there is no iTunes Extras preview window. The Extras menu does open when I select Play though. If I search the movie on the store it shows the Buy button and I cannot play it directly from the store page like other films.. It seems that Universal Pictures added a new version recently (I don't know if that is 4K or new extras) but rather than replacing the movie I had bought it added it as a new product. |

So was it an upgrade to 4K? I managed to find a very helpful support agent who didn't know if it had been upgraded but thought the distributor simply had changed the product code.
Is that what you think happened? Why would Universal do it? There does seem to be any difference between the modified version and mine/ The Irish store gets very little reviews so I'll assume you mean the US store. I can now access the iTunes Extras on the Jurassic Park downloaded to my MacBook but I still cannot stream it on my Mac. |

There’s plenty of complaints about it in the reviews for most Universal/Dreamworks movies. I bought The Mummy Trilogy which was removed for purchase but replaced with the individual movies for sale, my trilogy purchase upgraded to 4K HDR but the HD versions are still only available for purchase. |

Apple have already fixed the missing iTunes Extras on the downloaded version of the film but I don't know if they consider that case closed or if they'll look into getting it back on streaming. I know they normally say customers have to pursue issue directly with the distributor but if Universal are doing this a lot it should be up to Apple to contact them. |

After several emails claiming the problem was an "iTunes issue" Universal have finally decided to do the right thing and offered me a promo code for Jurassic Park.
They have also told me they are looking into the other inquiries and complaints I made. |

I'm really sorry but I did not see your post until just now. No idea how I missed it at the time but I hadn't been online in a while until last night.. Yes I'm in Ireland. Did you get any joy from Universal ? |

Not to worry, No Joy I'm afraid, apple say universal and vise versa and at this point I have been issued with replies from both to say my tickets are resolved and closed. Smh
