Default Samsung in Australia, What's going on?

Hello,
I don't know if there is anyone out there who may be able to tell me but I'm trying to find out where I can get a samsung bd-p1000 in australia. I am in the ACT and so far I have not found one store that can actually give me an answer as to when these might actually be out, despite harvey norman having htem in the catalogue I was told by a very rude sales person, who picked his nose while serving us, that he knew nothing about it. Also I have heard a rumour that it will be multi-region for at least the blu-ray side via a code input, has anyone else heard this?

Hi There

Harvey norman Fyshwick and JB-Hifi in Civic both have the Blu-ray player from samsung. I am sure they would be able to help you on it.

Cheers
