Koch Media will release Massimiliano Zanin's documentary Istintobrass (2013) on 13 December.

Here is a trailer (with English subtitles):

Interestingly, this has been revised down from an announced 4xBD set (also pictured here), to a 3xBD set and then to its current 2xBD set form. There is, however, one Italian retailer listing English subtitles for this release, though whether they apply to all of the video content or just the main documentary is unclear.

I got this today, and although some sites had said it would include English subtitles, unfortunately, it does not. I flicked through the documentary, and saw that Helen Mirren's interview has burned-in white Italian subtitles, but other than Mirren and Ken Adam, I don't think anyone speaks English. The documentary and main menus are the only content offered in 24 fps on wither disc, as the "bonus" film La vacanza (1971) is presented in SD PAL from an older 4:3 video master.

However, the release is not a complete write-off for non-Italians, as the second Blu-ray contains some silent footage from a handful of Brass films, most of which deals with nudity and sex scenes, as well as many trailers, and while all the content is 25 fps. it is 1080/50i HD and looks to be recently scanned from film elements. I also dare you to find an included Blu-ray booklet in a US release which as many full color pictures of nude women on film sets.

All that said, though, this is a disappointing release for those who do not speak Italian. Hopefully, the documentary will see a release with English subtitles soon enough.

Please note: Currently, Amazon.it are listing this as three discs, and with an incorrect red cover that has a silhouette of Tinto Barss' head. The actual product is a booklet and two BD-50 discs (though the DVD version may need more discs) housed in a standard blue amaray case with a cardboard slipbox, and the correct cover is the one of Tinto Brass and two women shown here, which was previously listed on Amazon.it.

I don't remember exactly. One of them (from Cheeky!) is a rather boring outdoor shot of a canal or marina with no one in the frame, but the rest of the segments are pretty much all silent b-roll footage from sex scenes, particularly two scenes from Paprika. Very roughly, I want to say the total raw HD footage is about 40-45 minutes.
