The tags for 4K and HDR are now showing on the title page of each movie. This was just updated on the website but haven't seen it yet in the TV apps.

yeah, I'm getting HDR playback on the Roku Ultra for Universal, Warner, and Disney titles (no DV either). However, Sony titles say "4K" on the movie title page, but will not play in 4K/HDR

Just checked according to that list above, and actually, those Sony that work 4K/HDR on FandangoNow are working 4K/HDR on MA (EXCEPTION: if you redeemed Sony 4K UV through Sony's site, those are not porting, because they are not porting UHD to Vudu yet).

Excited to see MA roll out UHD support. This might help for a lot of titles are are not UHD everywhere (yet).
Quote:
Yes, the pattern has been that any title upgraded to UHD in iTunes is also UHD in Movies Anywhere - I don't think there are any exceptions to this provided a title is MA and a new redeem/purchase (new iTunes upgrades to previously owned titles do not port to MA in 4K). Given the spotty availability of UHD titles this would be assuming MA hosts the film in UHD (not sure if MA 100% hosts all UHD encodes/titles). Regardless if a title is UHD in a vendor, like Apple, you have the license for 4K wherever streaming at that quality as available. Last edited by Undeadcow; 12-03-2018 at 09:05 PM. |

"The Mask of Zorro" - Amazon, Google Play, ULTRA, Kaleidescape "Labyrinth" - Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, ULTRA "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid" - iTunes, Kaleidescape Granted, ULTRA and Kaleidescape isn't MA, but they're available, and all three Sony films are on Amazon and Google Play.
