Look out Blu!

I can see Pulp Fiction in the pic.

Here's a list of movies available.

Another lamb to the Blu slaughter, I guess.

Uh...just before I was going to make fun of this, I took a quick look at the library.

I must say that I'm IMPRESSED.

Some pretty solid Bollywood titles, watchable TV movies, and a VERY surprising list of blockbusters like Pulp Fiction, Passion of the Christ and (get this) BLADE !!!

The HELL is going on?

I wonder if there are any serious reviews of a movie?

Interesting how they have lined up movies from many studios. And claim 1920x1080p for $17.49 each.

No HD or master audio... count me out. Looks like a re-labeled HD DUD to me.

This company also plans to release on a format called Green-Ray later in the year.

This will not make it even in Asia with only 125 titles.

Ugh! Are we actually discussing this joke product here?

I mean the company name is NME (enemy). Is anyone going to take any of this seriously?

Ah, well. I suppose it would go well with my HD DVD player. Should I need a second paperweight.

If those angry HD DVD fanatics really cared about HDM, they would get behind this product instead of going on and on about downloads. As cheezy and chintzy as this format may be, I bet it will have better image and sound than the HD lite downloads MS wants to foist off on us.

This thing makes HDDVD look like what blu is to HDDVD, lol. I think i rather stick with and upconverting DVD player than this.

Basically it's for developing countries. A much cheaper solution to manufacuture

I seriously doubt it'll take off, but the theory is somewhat sound, especially if Blu remains uncopyable (quite likely)

Default impressive title selection

I scanned the available titles and am surprised: How did they manage to get the rights to Disney titles like Brigde to Terhabitha or Apocalypto or Warner titles like Oliver Stones Alexander? Not that I think it will be a threat to Blu-ray
