I remember the fight scenes on the BD looking too dark but clips from the special features of the same scenes looked a little brighter (and better imo). Although I don't know which one is the correct intended look.

Any word on the reboot getting the 4k treatment? I have a SD *vomits* copy on VUDU and have avoided watching it.

The Mastered in 4K looked and sounded average at best. Will be interesting to see if the 4K UHD offers a dramatic improvement over it.

That's a nice piece of big budget trash from Emmerich. I remember hating it so much when it came out, but I watched it a couple of days ago, and I kind of enjoyed it, so probably will pick it up when it's cheap. I was however hoping for a Godzilla (2014) UHD release from WB, which makes much more sense in May when Godzilla II is out.

I certainly don't think this is a trash and I think it's a very well made and enjoyable blockbuster with some terrific visual fx and model work.

Was hoping for Godzilla (2014), but still excited to get one of my fav guilty pleasures on 4k.

I don't recall too much of this movie, but at a decent price I will be adding it.

Why not do the 2014 movie since the new one is supposed to be a tie-in sort of? Isn't it? Beuller?

Can’t wait! I sampled some of the 4K version on Netflix, and even compressed and in SDR, it looks great.

Hell yes. The Mi4K BD is excellent, this should be even better.
