Whenever I have free time, it seems like more often than not, I read. This can be news, online articles, ebooks, magazines, etc.
There's things I've realized about it. I wouldn't know most things I know, if I couldn't read. The more I read, the more I continually learn new things and realize I don't know the truth. Reading gives you knowledge and exposes you to new things all the time. It is mentally stimulating and relaxing. I also (read) that, reading improves your memory and mind, since you imagine what you read. It is exercising the mind. For the mind, the benefits of reading are basically infinite. It takes you places and informs you of things you never imagined; expanding the mind. I can't count the number of times I've read something, and I've never looked at the world the same way again. It actually happens quite often. Does anyone else love reading? It is one of the best things you can do. I've also realized, it makes you better in real life. Bits and pieces of everything you read come in handy in real life. The benefits are basically infinite. |
