20th Century Fox The Transporter 1&2

The Transporter and The Transporter 2 came out at the very beginning of the Blu-ray format on 25 gig discs with MPEG-2 compression and frankly the not very good. Fox needs to release both these on 4K so we can get good video.

Low down on my totem pole. Can think of dozens other movies even from that era that I'd grab before this. They would be certainly appreciated on the format, though!

Would love to have these on UHD. I really like them especially the second one. Unrated is a must though.

I agree. These are actually some of my favorite fun action flicks. Would upgrade both.

Only if they at least include both cuts (US theatrical and uncut international) then I wouldn't mind getting these two films on UHD Blu-ray.

They would be great eye candy for the format, if they get fresh scans and the HDR is done properly, but I don't know if they will come any time soon. I'm not sure who has full control over either film, be it Fox or Luc Besson's EuropaCorp/StudioCanal.

It's criminal that they released #3 in 4K but not the first two. I'd prefer to buy the trilogy all in one go. Enjoyed all three, but the first is definitely the best.

3 is StudioCanal, so they released it through Lionsgate. As I posted earlier, the first two films are EuropaCorp/StudioCanal and Fox, so it's hard to ascertain who maintains actual control over them. Fox kept international distribution rights for 3.
