That's the one all right!

This has the potential to be the best 80's 3D presentation we've had yet, since it's being handled by the 3D film Archive.

This is awesome news! An 80's 3d done by the 3d Archive team with a young Demi Moore.

Iím doing a happy dance; the 3D Archive restoring an 80ís horror B movie! Iím so glad Charles Band didnít have the rights to this because it would have been released flat.

What a shame. I guess I'll never see that one in 3D.

People love their power trips. And money.

Thankfully whoever owns Parasite was willing to play ball.

Awesome; I hope this isn't the only 80s 3-D releases on the 3DFA's docket. While I love your golden age 3-D releases, the 80s was my decade and we don't see enough of these types of releases.

Unfortunately, some 80's 3-D films are being released in 2-D only. Spacehunter and Starchaser have both become victim's of uncaring license holders. The latter had a 3-D DCP ready to go.

The 50's 3-D films have been more fortunate. Only Money From Home has been a victim of an uncaring license holder.

Cool

Awesome news that Parasite is getting restored! Thank you! I was tempted to find a version in 3D in the past, but never got around to it, so hearing this news is wish fulfillment as a big fan of parasite monster movies (Alien), and 3D. Can't wait to see it in strong 3D, thanks to 3-D Film Archive and Kino Lorber. Very cool news to hear they're expanding to 1980's 3D films too. The trailer and film look entertaining.

220px-Parasite_poster.jpg

This was one of Demi Moore's first starring roles it's reported.

I still remember the Parasite TV ad when I was a tiny kid, and this small creature was crawling from the ceiling in the trailer and flying towards the screen, but I never got to figure out what movie it was back then, till only years ago.

The movie Slither has parasite slugs that remind me of the original Parasite movie, 1982.
