Winter is here already. Bring it on. I kind of hope they do a regular 2D steelbook as well since that's how I have all the other 7. I'll do like a 4K set down the road when prices drop.

Why are people confused about this preorder? The picture shown is a placeholder. No different from any other release. The new season just aired last night, so give it some time, to see what the final product will look like.

i said "in before this ends up not looking like the magnet steelbook collection they've made 7 seasons of because this ones 4k."

Meaning i don't know what it'll look like no one does, I'm just saying i bet it ends up not matching the magnet collection because this is 4k and none of them were.

Were just giving our guesses not claiming a placeholder is the art.

The magnet doesn't concern me so much as all the spines have been lining up to form one continuous image. If they veer from that path, it's going to suck

Is there a signal BB exclusive??? I have been collecting the sigil version since S1. I would hate to not have a release ugh.

Plus, even if I start with the steelbook craze, it's impossible to find the last two or three seasons since they were BB exclusives.

If I was confused, it was only due to the way you worded things.

Of course no one knows what the steelbook will look like yet. It would be my guess that, if season 8 steelbook is gonna match the previous season steelbooks then, they will lose the BD's, and only be 4k. It's anyone's guess though for now.

From the previews I can tell that Season 8 will look stunning in 4K. I don't know if I want to update previous seasons, but Season 8 should be a must in 4K.

I suspect, there will be 'a few' to choose from...

Gonna be a helluva binge that week-end!

(heh, same for "Supernatural"). maybe two week-ends for that one...
