This is great news. It's not a film that I can watch often but it's a must have for me. The final battle should look stunning in HDR.

Why oh why are these catalog releases taking so long to trickle out?
Couldn’t Sony manage to release two a month for the next few years? It would certainly help get UHD sales invigorated.

Yes! I'm in. Dunno if I'll say "day one" but I'll get it asap. 2019 is fulfilling the promise of all the anniversary titles so far.

Unbelievably, I don't have this great movie on Blu-ray, so getting this is a slam dunk.

Easily one of the best war films ever made. Great cinematography by Freddie Francis with bold saturated colors (especially during a particular battle that takes place at night) that looks great on blu ray and will hopefully look incredible with a HDR grading. Blind buy with complete confidence.

Very pleased about this, both for the title itself as well as the fact that this draws us closer to a 4K disc of TAXI DRIVER.
