Default Question re Panny dmp-bd10a

I guess this really belongs to the Audio discussion forum but being a newb I can't post there. I do apologize if this was covered before but I can't seem to find a thread regarding this issue.

I have the bd10a and I know that it does not DECODE dts hd ma signal. With that said, is it capable of passing the said signal to a receiver that's capable of decoding it? I know that I'll also need a hdmi v1.3 cable for this to work and the guy at the store sold me a cable that he claims to be 1.3 compliant (though that wasn't indicated on the packaging).

With that in mind, I know that the player supports/decodes Dolby TrueHD. I'm having issues sending that bitstream to my receiver. I've noticed that some owners of the new BD30 are having issues getting their players to send dolby truehd to their receivers as well and I've already tried some of the work-around methods but to no avail.

Can the experts out there shed some light on this or point me to a thread that does? I'd really appreciate it
