Here Come the Brides Season 1 going for outrageous prices on Ebay!

So, I'm thinning out my collection.

I have the first season of Here Come the Brides on DVD and when I was checking prices on Ebay, they were ranging $201 to $400!

On Amazon used it's priced at $398 used!

Seriously! Should I price it like that?

Who would pay that much?

Nobody would pay that much.

Searching what sellers are charging on ebay doesn't tell you what people will pay for something. You have to search completed & sold listings.

It looks like the highest it hit is $165, which was a buy it now, but $100 seems more like the going rate. Which is still a nice price for one DVD sale.

Mine just sold for $168.50.

That floors me. I only paid $20 for it. Doing a happy dance.

I bought it new when it came out. I'm downsizing and having to slim down my collection. The person who bought it isn't likely to make much of a profit if they resell it.

Plus, this high bid could encourage more to sell theirs which could potentially drive the price down.

Not only that, on Amazon a recent copy was listed at $99.

I think I just got lucky.
