Coming soon, the holiday horror anthology Deathcember will open 24 doors to Hell for “the ultimate advent horror anthology movie.” The anthology will feature 24 shorts by 24 directors from around the globe, each one taking a look at the dark side of the festive season.

Vivienne Vaughn‘s segment “A Christmas Miracle” recently wrapped filming, and it stars horror legend Barbara Crampton!

Deathcember‘s line-up of directors includes big names as well as up-and-comers, from genre mainstays such as Lucky McKee (The Woman) and Trent Haaga (68 Kill) to festival favorites like Isaac Ezban (Parallel) and Lazar Bodroza (Ederlezi Rising) to exciting fresh talent, such as Sam Wineman (The Quiet Room) and Ama Lea.

Also attached as directors are names like Pollyanna McIntosh (Darlin’) and, as a special surprise, the living genre legend, Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust)!

I love me the holly, jolly Christmastime and the niceness it brings.

However, I have developed an enjoyment for Christmas horror with Better Watch Out, Rare Exports and most especially Krampus.

Dark and twisted but dark and twisted comedies.

The second trailer makes it look a bit too slashery and bloody but I'll give it a look.
