John Wick 4 CONFIRMED by director – Where will Keanu Reeves’ assassin go next?

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum has only just hit cinemas, but the director has already confirmed the fourth outing.

Chad took part in a Reddit AMA where he initially stayed coy about John Wick 4, suggesting it would depend on box office success.

However, he then let slip that a fourth film is definitely on the cards.

Asked which John Wick movie was the most challenging in terms of stunts, he wrote: “All of them, each for their own individual reasons.”

Chad continued: “1 was difficult because we didn't understand what we wanted to do, quite.

“Number 2, we had to map up a whole world we didn't think of before.

“3, how do we expand and get the audience something creative, not just bigger and cooler.”

And he added: “Number 4, I'm certain, will be more difficult."

That sounds pretty conclusive.

I guess I'll see it, but I was left so exhausted/satisfied by the third one that when it set up number four, I was like "please, no more, you've done it justice now, don't kill it."

I dunno, I figured they could always do a prequel movie with a young Wick in the Cold War setting. But yeah, it doesn't sound like a real or possible thing.

Yeah either one will have to be much younger or the other much older. Besides the Wick universe already has its own spinoff potential anyway I guess.

I think they've already gotten to that point, and honestly I wished 3 just had an ending -- not a set-up for yet another sequel. Sigh

[Show spoiler]Bring on the 4th. I think Winston didn't intend to kill John, so everyone (Sophia, The Bowery King, Winston, the Raid assassins John let go) will team together to take down the High Table. John has to get his ring back too.

I echo everyone's calls for Carrie Anne Moss to show up as well. Maybe even get Hugo to play a High Table guy.
