I see Game of Thrones Season 8 is available on iTunes now.
I already own Seasons 1-7 which are displayed with this icon: ![]() If I buy Season 8 will it be included as part of the "folder"? Or show as a whole new TV Series? |

It will still show up under 'Game of Thrones' in your TV app, but you'll have to switch between the two sets when choosing an ep. |

Whereas now they’re in separate rows. It’s a shame that when you buy a TV boxset that your purchase doesn't link to the individual seasons to the number of seasons you’ve purchased. |

So the "Game of Thrones Season 1-7" icon will divide into two "folders" when selected?

I’m guessing the Ireland store wasn’t the same then? Last edited by -Gonzo-; 05-23-2019 at 10:58 AM. |

HBO has still made people that bought the season pass wait for months in the past seasons. Glad to know, albeit after the show ended, they finally stopped punishing the digital customers.

I’m pretty sure in the UK that Seasons 6 & 7 were available the day after the the last episode of those seasons were aired too, as I remember buying them shortly after watching watching on Sky Atlantic.

Unlike standard broadcasters, HBO typically never sold their shows digitally day after airing. Granted however that they should not be selling or advertising a 'season pass' for a show currently airing that they also won't be selling for potentially months. |

if you pirated the show, you could watch it immediately. if you bought the show digitally, hbo would make you wait for the physical releases to watch the digital copy you bought months before ![]() |

On AppleTV it just says “HD”. It is a nice, crisp picture on the 82” screen. My receiver is 5.1 and all channels are lit.

Even 720p will show as HD. Looks like streaming is 1080p and download is 720p. For amount they are charging they should allow us to download in 1080p and DD+

You need to go into the iTunes Preferences, and in the "Downloads" tab enable the option "Download full-size HD videos".
