All of those movies have entirely different genres and storylines, that has no similarities to Mad Max.

Not true. Different storylines, not different genre. Rip-off movies usually get different storylines from the movies they took inspiration from.

That said, Waterworld was almost a remake (on water) of Thunderdome, there were many elements in common.
