Me either. The first part was one of the scariest movies I have seen in some time. They most certainly didn't shy away from anything like some Stephen King adaptions (not talking about Dark Tower, seriously).

The original came out a little before I discovered my love for Dolby Cinema. Can't wait to see this one in DC and complete the UHD set.

Whatever happened to that promised extended cut of the first film?

This is WB so it will be $60 on release day for the box with both films and then $25 a month later.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen a blu-ray solicitation released for a movie before the film was actually released in theaters.

The second part isn’t even close to being out they can announce the DC anytime. I’ll bet they are waiting for the part 2 to get Bluray/4K and do a boxset with the DC exclusive to that boxset or exclusive to digital only.

Naturally, they’ll want fans to double - or even triple dip - before the extended cuts are released. I can wait.
If the extended edits are digital download only - they can shove it - physical media only.

Preorders are showing up earlier and earlier these days. That's concerning for the market.

I don't really keep up with buying too many new movies other than superhero films, so I guess I never noticed. I mean, I have seen some films get home release preorder ads on the day or week of their theatrical release, but not this soon before. It: Chapter Two doesn't even hit theaters until September 6, right?
