I still have my Paramount DVD & watched it again not long ago, it's definitely a fun movie.

Watched this on DVD for last year’s October horror marathon. Movie was okay, but the A/V quality was mediocre at best. Glad to see that it’s finally getting an HD release for those that have been wanting it.

Always liked this movie. Disappointed, that the monster looks nothing like they one on the poster, but still enjoyed it. Wonder if they can get their hands on the deleted gore footage?

I thought this film was somehow connected to the 90's series of Prophecy films from Miramax, one or two of which starred Christopher Walken. So it's a mutant bear flick? Don't think I've seen many of those

Yeah, two slices of disappointment for me.

1. This isn't The Prophecy (1995)
2. The Fan isn't the 1996 Tony Scott movie.

I saw this in a double-bill with Bear Island as a kid. That was about as close as the movie theater in question got to a themed double-bill (they notoriously once double-billed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre back in the days when Disney weren't quite so scrupulous about their image).
