Seiko no futomomo: Zoom Up
One of the more light hearted releases from the Impulse DVD Nikkatsu line, the plot concerns a boy(Toshihiko) obsessed with a girl(Seiko). The only way he knows how to deal with that is to stalk her and take pics of her without her permission. He also takes upskirt pics of other women to sell to a magazine to earn some money on the side. At the time of the film, one of the most popular female singers in Japan was named Seiko, and one of her rumored boyfriends was Toshihiko Tahara, who was a popular male singer at the time. So I'm guessing Ohara was hoping to cash in on their popularity at the time. The Implulse dvd looks to be tape sourced but is not unwatchable. 64 mins
