Bah why did they stop making the 4K sets, I wind up having to buy the steel and then a 4K set every time and then sell the 2D discs, becoming a headache.

I'm wary of pre-ordering from Target. The last two shipments I had from them were terrible. One was dented and the other they sent me the blu-ray instead of the 4k steelbook. I was able to go Tuesday morning to my Target and pickup the Batman Hush steelbook no problem, so I might try doing that again

Based upon previous DC steelbooks this will hit $15 in two weeks right? We can just go back and price adjust then?

If you have a RedCard it will stay on your receipt for 30 days instead of 14, so yeah just return and rebuy is what I have been doing

I got there around 1 PM and they still had three of these on the shelf. It's a nice steelbook even though it's matte. I prefer glossy though.

My local Target was 98% sold out of all copies with the exception of 2 steels. Now, granted I didn't get there until after 5:00 PM. Grabbed my steel, checked for damages and got outta there!

I don't even think my store had more than 3 to begin with. As much as I am happy to watch and enjoy other DC films outside of batman, superman and JL, I am a little worried that this one is not going to sell as well as other releases.

unfortunately for me,I had a damaged disk.

I picked up my copy yesterday morning.I got there at 8am when they opened. They didn't have any on the shelves when I got there so the media section manager went in the back and got me a copy. Now I could hear a disk rattling around inside which is never a good sign. The manager had already gone off so I decided to take a chance and buy the copy.

Got it home and sure enough the blu ray disk was laying loose.I spot checked the disk and as I feared, there was damage because a scene towards the end of the film stutters for a few seconds.Gets wavy and freezy for about five or six seconds.Checked it again two more timss and stutters each time in the same spot of the film.

I looked at the disk and with a magnifying glass and you can see a very small scratch.

I couldn't get back to the store until this morning. Was tied up the rest of the day and at night when I could,it was pouring rain and I just didn't feel like stopping.

The problem was I went back at 8 am this morning. At that point they still had the rest of the steelbooks they got.The store got four copies in total. The one I bought and the three left according the the media manager. And all three copies also had the blu ray disk rattling around loose.Like mine, you can hear it moving around.

At this point,I figured what's the point in exchanging if those are probably damaged too and possibly worse.I talked to the media manager and he agreed. He said he's going to alert their warehouse. and is pulling those three remaining copies.

Problem is,he doesn't think their store will be able to get replacement copies of the steelbook and after looking,no other stores in my area has any copies left now.The closet Target with a copy is waaaaaaaaaaaay out of my way.

So they gave me a refund and I had to get the the standard edition.

This really irks since I've gotten all the steelbooks since Killing Joke.

I wish they would of let me buy the standard but keep the steelbook and just send back the two disks but I figured they wouldn't because the probably have to send back the total package, not just the one damaged disk.So I didn't bother asking.

I debated keeping the damaged copy and just skipping over that part when I watch the film or use the DVD copy but I had no idea if any of the special features would also be damaged.I just didn't have time to check everything yesterday and the damaged area showed up on just a spot check. There could be more damage found with a actual full watch of the movie and all the special features.

Very disappointed.

At least the new standard copy I got seems to be fine with a spot check. No loose disk so I figured it would be fine.

But man,all there copies of the steelbook had a loose disk you could hear rattling.

*shakes head"
