Default WB Foreshadowed Exclusivity?

Here's a link to a post on another forum I visit that shows what the owner of the site discovered when he opened his HD DVD limited edition Blade Runner briefcase (0002/2500). That's correct. It was the second one off of the assembly line and it was saying SO much!

I can't post them here. The files are too big according to the file attachment restrictions on this site and I don't seem to have an image editing program that will do the job properly. I keep trying to resize the images. They keep getting bigger in file size while getting smaller in screen size. I'm at a loss. Sorry.

There should be 3 thumbnail photos in that post. Click on each to see the bigger version.

I'm confused. Is it that he received the 2nd minted case. Or that they were only making 2500 of them. I don't see how receiving #2 of a limited edition has anything to do with dropping HD-DVD. It just makes the item more valuable in the series. Would have been really worth something if it was #1!

Not sure if this will work. The site wasn't showing the images for some reason.

EDIT: HEY! IT WORKS!!! YAY!

But WB had Harry Potter HD DVD in a Blu-ray case. And plus anyone can replace the inserts to cause a scene.

No, they were HD DVD discs... but it's funny that their enumerated "Limited Edition Briefcase" has a misprint on its cover that technically says Blu-ray. Plus, this is the first mishap I've heard of for the other format... not that it is that big of a deal. But, I got a laugh out of it and thought I'd share.

the answer to the question is an obvious yes. but typos and other mistakes (like this one) has nothing to do with it.

Looks like they use the Blu cover and inserted in HD-DVD case.
Because I don't see any HD-DVD logo on the cover at all except on top of the case.

These mistakes may be the reason for the staggered release schedule for the remaining HD DVDs. Warner wants to get on the right track with its Blu-ray releases and avoid infection by HD DVD cases, inserts and discs.

wrong sleeve. at least it shows they were messing both sides up, not just Blu. But only the Blu ones were talked about. Glad it is all over with now and Blu is on top!
