I just finished watching Cloak & Dagger for the first time, and found Christina Nigra to be one of the most irritating child actors I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Thought it would make for an interesting thread. So, my nomination is Christina Nigra from Cloak & Dagger and Twilight Zone: The Movie.

The ultra-overrated Jacob Tremblay nearly drove me nuts in The Death and Life of John F. Donovan. All that precocious preciousness (seriously, only filmmakers think that's charming), all that screaming, all that selfishness. Jeebus. Admittedly, the character is written that way, but it doesn't make him any less hateful.

Not exactly an actor per-say but this guy can be right smug, entitled little prick at times.

I give you the Stephen King commissioned direct to tv version of The Shining.

If watching this won't make you immediately pick up your blu-ray of Kubrick's film and hold it close to your chest with the deepest appreciation imaginable while chanting 'Redrum... Redrum...' to yourself, I don't know what will.

I actually really like the mini-series as a faithful alternative to Kubrick, but you're right about the kid. I wanted to punch him right in his funny-looking mouth.

The kid from that old western, Shane. Watched it for a film studies class and he pretty much ruined the movie for me.

The worst kid that comes to mind is the daughter in the Louis CK HBO sitcom "Lucky Louie". She was truly dreadful.

I'll up the ante: Eric Shea from the 60s Batman TV series, where he starred as the kid in the Shane parody "Come Back Shame".

It’s gotta be Short Round.

If I remember correctly, the kid from The Babadook was annoying as well.

Nope. I didn't intend it to pertain to characters. There are plenty of really awful actors to sustain a thread without getting into the characters. But I guess we're gonna get some of both.
