Unhappy Fly Me To The Moon (2008) [No 3D Blu-ray / Anaglyph 3D, Digital - HBO 3D On Demand]

Does anyone own this disc?
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Fly-M...Blu-ray/53489/
Can you comment on the specs?
I assume this is not a 3D blu-ray or someone would have mentioned it by now.
But if you own it can you comment on picture and sound quality.
I cannot seem to find any other info on the disc besides what is on that page.

There is no Blu-ray 3D, but there is a Spanish Region B Locked (AVC encoded) Blu-ray with the 3D-in-the-Anaglyph-format and the 2D version on the same disc.
The 2009 Spanish release includes the original English audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and no forced subtitles = (Spanish subtitles can be turned off.)

I know of the spanish blu-ray, but this greek edition appears to have a 5.1 dts-hr audio track. Also, I believe that the spanish edition is 1080i 25fps, so it is a no go, as I’m sure the movie was made for 24 in mind.

Interesting!
Never noticed a problem when playing it.
It has very smooth playback using the Oppo 203 on the LG E6.

Thanks for the picture and confirming it is indeed 1080i50.
I’m sure it is smooth, as allot of european production are in that same frame rate. I would however prefer the full 1080p version and if it comes with a dts-hr track even better.
That is why I’m wondering if anyone owns the greek edition and can confirm some specs.

So I got my greek blu-ray today. It came very well packed and included a couple of anaglyph 3d glasses. HOWEVER, THERE IS NOTHING RECORDED ON THE DISC.
That’s right, the disc is blank. It appears nothing was recorded on the disc. It is almost like after engraving the art on the disc they decided that was good enough. Tested on bought my blu-ray players and on my brand new pc drive. I tested a couple of blu-ray after on the pc just to mKe sure everything was ok and they played flawlessly. Already contacted the shop I bought it from, and also the distributor themselves to see what the hell happened.
I’m still in shock. This is a first for me. I’ve had, scratches, fingerprints and even a disc that simply did not make it into a sealed case, but a blank disc is an absolutely first.

Made an English custom 'Cover and Spine' for the Spanish "Vamos A La Luna" Blu-ray release.

The 3D edition is currently appearing via HBO On-demand. Great 3d effects.

Is the HBO 3D Version still available?
If so, how are you able to access it?

I'm not seeing it available on any HBO interfaces and the last articles I saw online stated that HBO was removing 3D content.

On a Verizon system for example...choose Networks then Premium then HBO..it gives you the following options; Featured, Series, Movies, Inside the series, Next on hbo, Kids, Documentaries, Specials, Sports. Latino and finally 3d.

I say this because if you just go under movies there are classifications for romance, action, etc but not 3D.

Currently, My Soul to Take, Mortal Engines, Fly Me to the Moon, Kung Fu Panda 2, Yogi Bear, Despicable Me, Puss in Boots, Chronicles of Narnia : Voyage of the Dawn Trader, Small Foot, Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald, Rio, Aquaman, Lego Movie 2, Pan, Gulliver's Travels

They also have PPV 3D but they arent listed under any category. Hard to find them. You can find some by typing in 3D for search.

I was looking to see if this title was actual BD 3D or anaglyph, got my answer but saw this post. Did you get to the bottom of the "blank disc issue"? I've had a few discs that 'appear' to be blank, not loading, not recognizable as BD but what I found was that the entire disc content (including and uncharacteristically) the initial content is all encoded with Region Coding (like Region B if from Greece/Europe) and so the disc will appear defection, blank, etc if played in a non-matching Region player (like Region A US player). Most Region B or C discs that are loaded into a Region A (or vice versa) player will display an error or screen stating the content was intended for use in another Region but some discs (rarely) are encoded from top2bottom which prevents the disc from being accessed/loaded by incorrect Region player or PC (if your PC drive or software is locked to Region A). Just a thought ... of course, the disc could be actually blank and that would be a rare unicorn, indeed.

Maybe RSM could somehow get hold of this. I’d love to complete my nWave 3D Blu collection.

I tested the disc in my Sony region A player, on my Sony region B 4k player and also on my pioneer uhd pc drive. Nothing worked. I got a refund and after that the website where I got it from, discontinued the blu-ray edition I bought. I suspect this was indeed a unicorn of a disc.
Maybe one day when 3D makes a comeback we’ll get this in proper 3D blu-ray.
