Default Walmart in-store blu-ray exclusive?

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bus...ef=videosearch

From http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread...53&start=0#end

The instructions were to check the video at 1:12 min. Can't do it at work at the moment, but I was hoping someone can confirm this.

Would be a serious death blow, but I would expect more press on this if true. I'm guessing they are confusing Walmart with Target who are already Blu exclusive in stores.

that would be asbsolutely great if its true! i work at walmart in my town in the electronics dept and we dont have any blu-ray players at all besides the ps3 and we sell the toshiba hd-a3 and the hd-a1 or whatever they are called. im always bummed when people ask me if we have any standalone blu players cuz i always have to tell them no, but if what CNN is saying is true i may see a swing in the products we carry? i will ask tomorrow and see if anybody at my store can confirm it and i will report back to everybody on this thread alright?
