She wrote so many great episodes. It's a very sad day, especially for us Trekkies. RIP.

Edit: I watched TOS on the H&I channel and the episode was "This Side of Paradise" co-written by DC Fontana....apropos.

Her and Peter Allan Fields in the same year. He had a hand in nearly everything I actually liked from 24th century Trek, and she was instrumental in defining the beloved (until recently, with Abrams and CBS) 23rd.

I remember her being interviewed for a TNG behind the scenes. One of Trek's best minds. RIP.
