I hope for completists' sake, that Back to the Streets of San Francisco can be included as a bonus feature/extra (either in standard or high definition). All five seasons were released on DVD in the States (transferred to HD), but I don't think Back to the Streets of San Francisco was.

Yes, I know this refers to DVD-only, but one of the short-lived series I had hoped VEI would have released (they've been inconsistent, but when they've got it right, I've been happy with the releases), was a short-lived spin-off of The Streets of San Francisco called Bert D'Angelo/Superstar.

I find it interesting that it's taken this long for The Streets of San Francisco to get a Blu-ray release. It would be typical if the original Perry Mason series gets a Blu-ray release in Germany now (have started collecting the States DVD releases, which I think have been transferred to HD).

Are Koch Media only doing a Blu-ray release of The Streets of San Francisco, or are there other transferred to HD series CBS/Paramount released on DVD in the States which they may consider doing Blu-ray releases of?

They're also confirmed to be doing MacGyver and Charmed, and apparently there are other series that they have the rights to but are yet to announce - of the crime genre from memory.

I'd be interested if the unannounced crime genre titles (if they do end up being from that genre) include the original Hawaii Five-O, Mannix and the original Perry Mason (although that's part legal, part crime drama series).

Thanks for the helpful reply.

I see where I can buy the Koch set of Streets of San Francisco in DVD, but I have yet to locate any official page regarding a Blu-ray edition. Does anyone have a link for the Bluray version?

hopefully uncut... TV-Shows in the 60's/70/80's were often cut / partially cencored for several reasons (length, theme/story/words) - so there might be added scenes - which were never dubbed and might be added now in english with german subtitles (not forced!!!)

Anyone know if the transfer details that Koch did for the standard DVD set of Streets of San Francisco is any good? I may wish not to wait for any future BluRay edition because I can buy the DVD set for around $35.

I am still wondering if I should buy the US set, the price is still below 40USD.
Any news on when they will release it in Germany then?

Amazing. It's in my top five wish list for shows being released on Blu (or even just HD). The other 4 being:

Kojak, Hill Street Blues, Bonanza and Alfred Hitchcock Presents (and the Hitchcock Hour).

Come to think of it, I also dream of Rod Serling's Night Gallery.

I would like to see The Invaders get a Blu-ray release from Koch Media. The transferred to HD episodes in the two DVD sets from CBS/Paramount looked very good (it should have had a third season).

I know with what's been going on these past few months, there could/are going to be delays, but have there been any updates from Koch Media about their Streets of San Francisco release?

With the Miami Vice set coming from Koch Media next month, has their release of The Streets of San Francisco been delayed to next year?

All the CBS show sets are still in the works. As far as I know, the first one to come out will be Charmed, then this one, then MacGyver last. No exact release date has been set yet, though.

Thank you for the info. Interesting, somehow Charmed doesn't seem to fit in with those other classic shows
